YOUR EMF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

Preparation for Your Assessment:

As soon as possible after booking your assessment, please provide me with a sketch of your floor plan for each level of your house.  If you don’t have a printed copy, a hand-sketched copy will do, roughly showing the general layout and major rooms, house orientation etc.  On it please note square footage, and anything you know about the construction materials used in your building – For example: walls, roofing materials, siding, foundation – basement, crawl space or slab?

Please include known or suspected EMF sources on your sketch (major appliances, electrical service boxes, routers, cordless phones, computer workstation, etc.).  Data gathered will be presented on a floor plan and is intended to provide you with a visual record for quick future reference as you remediate your environment following the EMF protection recommendations you will receive.

What to Expect:

It is important for you to be present at the time of the assessment, and that you are available to ask and answer questions about the environment and to observe the demonstrated EMF that is onsite.

Several meters will be used to measure for the various types of EMF, detect their sources, field strengths, etc.  These primarily are the GigaHertz HFE 59B and HFW 59D for radiofrequency and microwave signals, the GigaHertz NFA 1000 for Electric and Magnetic fields, and the Alpha Labs EMI meters to measure the micro-surge electrical pollution (dirty electricity).

I will use the electrical breakers to cut off power in your home in order to establish baselines for the EMFs present in the environment verses those contributed by your home.  The latter generally offer more options for mitigation.  Please let me know if there is any equipment that needs special consideration before being turned off. I will also manipulate breakers to determine which circuits are causing any high electrical fields in the sleeping areas.

An EMF assessment can take three to four hours, sometimes longer depending on the environment and number of focus areas to be addressed.

Scheduling and Payment:

The EMF assessment fee is $325 if within 30 minutes of Atlantic Beach, (less deposit discussed below) payable via cash, check or credit card on day of the assessment. This includes a general assessment of the house, lot, and two areas of focus.  Additional focus areas are $75 each.  Focus areas include much more detail and a GigaHertz NFA 1000 generated, color map of the fields in pertinent areas such as a bed or office chairs.

The findings and recommendations will be reported verbally at the time of the survey and  on a Standard Report within 3-4 business days.  The Standards Report will summarize the findings and recommendations and show each  of the four types of measured EMFs overlaid on your floorplan.  If a formal report is desired there is an additional cost of $75.

A $100 deposit is required at the time of scheduling along with your address and assessment goals.  Upon receiving this deposit, I will begin research into EMF sources in your area, such as microwave & cell towers, Wi-Fi antennas, and other EMF sources.

Due to extensive preliminary research, this deposit is non-refundable, however I will work with you in earnest to either reschedule your assessment or, as an alternative, I’ll provide you with the results of the preliminary research, which is, in itself, a consultation.

There are no time & travel charges if the assessment is within 30 minutes of Atlantic Beach.  If farther away, I will let you know of the specific charge.  I am currently charging $20/Hr. travel time and $ 0.25/ mile.  These travel charges can be reduced if I can do multiple assessments in an area and split travel charges between clients.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
